Wayne Huang is a native Taiwanese, born 1980 in Taipei and raised in Southern California. He initially pursued a career in the commercial arts as a computer graphics artist before devoting himself to journalism and documentary storytelling. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications at California State University, Fullerton. The goal of his work is to shed light on and add relevance to underrepresented peoples and cultures in the mediasphere and to document the rich ethnic and social diversity of the human race, complexities and all.

Further, he is interested in exploring innovative and impactful ways in which multimedia storytelling and visual and written reportage can be employed in the new media environment to promote awareness of a non-profit cause.

Wayne is also a contributing photographer to Penta Press Photos.
